The single metaphor above answered the first two questions, clarifying that sentient beings possess the nature; the following single metaphor answers the subsequent ten objections regarding impermanence, clarifying that the nature is permanent. Therein, first is the metaphor, next the application, and finally the conclusion. In the metaphor there are six [clauses]: first, the metaphor of sentient beings possessing the nature but not seeing it due to the obstacle of delusion; second, from "there was a person who smelled its fragrance" down, the metaphor of adducing those who see it to verify that the nature exists; third, from "after the king passed away" down, the metaphor of transformation according to conditions; fourth, from "the true [taste] of this medicine" down, the metaphor of its essence being constantly of a single taste; fifth, from "ordinary persons of meager [merit]" down, the metaphor of adducing ordinary persons not seeing it to reveal that the nature is profound and superior; sixth, from "there was another king" down, the metaphor of adducing subsequent realization and vision to clarify that the nature is permanent.
