3.93

上來兩段廣明四人弘護利益，自下第三結明四人為世間依。「以是因緣我說四人為世依」者，以是四人像正二時弘法因緣，我說為依。「如是」下釋，以無邪謗故說為依。「是故」下結。

The two passages above extensively explain the benefits of the four persons' propagation and protection; below, the third concludes by explaining that the four persons are refuges for the world. 'By this cause and condition I say that the four persons are refuges for the world' means that because these four persons propagate the Dharma during the periods of the semblance and true [teachings], I say they are refuges. From 'Such' downward explains this: because they are free from wrong views and slander, they are said to be refuges. From 'Therefore' downward concludes.
