In the third [part], re-elucidating through questions and answers, Kāśyapa first asks, "If the Tathāgata has sorrow, he is not called an equally enlightened one." Below, the Buddha explains and harmonizes this: "all have causes and conditions" generally resolves it; from "wherever there are" onward, it specifically resolves it; "wherever there are sentient beings who should receive transformation, he manifests therein" explains the establishment of having sorrow; from "although manifesting" onward, it explains the establishment of being without sorrow; from "like the kalaviṅka" onward, it adduces a parable to clearly contrast them.
