就佛寶中，「若佛初出為眾生說如來涅槃」合索先陀，佛涅槃中備含多義，雖有多義總名涅槃，是故此言似總先陀。「智臣當知此是如來為計常者說無常」等合前智臣奉水等也，「菩薩智者能解佛語」從喻名臣，下皆同爾。

Regarding the Buddha Jewel, "If the Buddha first appears and explains for sentient beings the Tathāgata's nirvāṇa" matches asking for saindhava. The Buddha's nirvāṇa fully contains many meanings; although it has many meanings, it is generally called nirvāṇa; therefore this phrase resembles the general saindhava. "The wise minister should know that this is the Tathāgata explaining impermanence for those who cling to permanence..." and so forth matches the wise minister previously serving water and so forth. "The wise bodhisattva is able to understand the Buddha's words" follows the simile in being named 'minister', and below is the same throughout.
