就初段中，先明凡夫斷、常偏見，「以是義」下對破情見，明法相二。明凡夫見中，文有五對：初對明過，中三正辨斷、常二相，後一明其見起所由。

In the first section, it first clarifies ordinary beings' one-sided views of annihilation and permanence; from 'by this meaning' onward, it refutes their emotional views and clarifies the duality of dharmic characteristics. In clarifying ordinary beings' views, the text has five pairs: the first pair clarifies the faults; the middle three directly distinguish the two characteristics of annihilation and permanence; the last one clarifies the cause from which these views arise.
