第三段中，「是乳滅已因緣成酪」正辨其二，前乳滅已更假餘緣方得成酪，所以名二。「何等」下釋，「是故」下結。是酪假於酢𤏙等生故名從緣。「乃至」已下以前類後。

In the third section, 'after this milk has ceased, through conditions it becomes cheese' properly distinguishes their duality. After the prior milk has ceased, it further relies on other conditions before it can become cheese; therefore it is called two. From 'what kind' downward is the explanation; from 'therefore' downward is the conclusion. This cheese relies on warm sour curd and the like to be produced; hence it is called originating from conditions. From 'and so forth' downward, it infers the subsequent by the prior.
