The above was the fourth part, the four fruits demanding the reality; from here down is the fifth part, an analogy for the sage returning to transform [beings] and distinguishing the false from the correct. Waiting for the time when the spiritual capacities for the path of these sentient beings are mature, the formerly departed bodhisattva returns to manifest transformation, called 'after some time'. The formerly fled prince returns from the other country, comes to his native land, attains buddhahood, and delivers people, which is called 'came to be king'. From 'having ascended' onward, he examines the sentiment and demands the reality. The text also has three points: first, asking whether they have seen it, and they answer that they have seen it; second, asking the characteristics seen, and they answer in full—yet because sentient beings conceptualize the self in more than one way, those who answer now are of various different sorts; third, the king hears it and laughs in amazement, and 'you all have not seen' distinguishes the false from the correct.
