From the "Four Truths" [Chapter] up to this point is the second major section, clarifying the practice of relinquishing marks and entering realization. From here below is the third [major section], clarifying the practice of realizing the real to accomplish the fruition, also called the practice of realizing the real and giving rise to function. Within this part, it fully answers four questions: first, it answers how one travels together with the noble ones like the sārasa bird and the kālindī; second, it answers [the simile of being] like the sun; third, it answers [the simile of being] like the moon; fourth, it answers [the simile of being] like the stars. Answering these four questions clarifies the fruitional virtues of the Buddha. The essence of these virtues is difficult to manifest, so it is revealed by relying on their functions. 'Functions' refers to the three karmas: answering the first question clarifies the transformative function arising from the Buddha's mental karma; answering the latter three questions clarifies the transformative function arising from the Buddha's physical and verbal karmas.
