In the fourth part, the conclusion, there are four distinct clauses: the former two clauses conclude with suffering in terms of pleasure, and the latter two clauses conclude with pleasure in terms of suffering. Concluding with suffering in terms of pleasure establishes what is now stated, that all are suffering; concluding with pleasure in terms of suffering establishes what was formerly stated, speaking of suffering as pleasure. "Due to this cause and condition, there is truly the feeling of pleasure in saṃsāra" is the first clause, concluding that there is pleasure: because there are three feelings in saṃsāra, there is truly the feeling of pleasure. "Because the natures of suffering and pleasure do not abandon each other, it is therefore said that all are suffering" is the third clause, concluding that there is suffering: because of the three sufferings, there is no pleasure in saṃsāra, and "no pleasure" still has the meaning of suffering. "Yet buddhas and bodhisattvas speak of pleasure in accord with the world" is the fourth clause, concluding with pleasure in terms of suffering.
