上來第一廣明慧行，自下嘆經令人修學。文別有二：一因無垢顯經殊勝、二因迦葉明持有益。前中，初先無垢藏王牒前諸佛菩薩功德，比挍度量顯此經勝，後佛述成。

Above, the first [part] extensively explained the practice of wisdom; from here onward, it praises the sūtra to cause people to cultivate and study it. In the text there are two distinct parts: first, by means of Vimalagarbha, it reveals the supremacy of the sūtra; second, by means of Kāśyapa, it clarifies that upholding [the sūtra] brings benefit. Within the former, first King Vimalagarbha restates the preceding merits of the buddhas and bodhisattvas, comparing and measuring them to reveal the supremacy of this sūtra; afterwards, the Buddha approves and confirms it.
