二果報不同，故立四種。文中直言「生大梵處」，不別論之。依餘經中，修慈極遠生遍淨處、修悲極遠生於空處、修喜極遠生於識處、修捨極遠生無所有。具釋所以，廣如別章。

Second, because their retributions are different, four kinds are established. In the text it simply says "born in the Great Brahmā realm" without distinguishing them separately. According to other sūtras, the furthest cultivation of benevolence leads to rebirth in the realm of Universal Purity (Śubhakṛtsna); the furthest cultivation of compassion leads to rebirth in the realm of [Infinite] Space; the furthest cultivation of sympathetic joy leads to rebirth in the realm of [Infinite] Consciousness; the furthest cultivation of equanimity leads to rebirth in the realm of Nothingness.
