5.312

第六番中，先舉二瞋，次列，後治。上瞋易斷，故慈能治；中瞋難去，修悲方治；極微細者，修慧方斷，是以不論。

In the sixth round, it first cites the two kinds of hatred, next lists them, and then gives the remedies. Superior hatred is easily eliminated, so benevolence can treat it; middling hatred is difficult to remove, so only cultivating compassion can treat it; that which is extremely subtle is eliminated only by cultivating wisdom, and therefore is not discussed.
