上來一段自行心淨，自下第二化他心淨。於中初明化他之心，「布施食時常作願」下明化他心。願中具明四無量心，皆初法說。後喻顯之，願中有八，文顯可知。

The single section above concerns the purity of mind in one's own practice; the second section from here downward concerns the purity of mind in transforming others. Within this, it first clarifies the mind that transforms others; from 'When giving food, he always makes aspirations' downward clarifies the mind of transforming others. In the aspirations, it fully clarifies the four immeasurable minds, all first stated doctrinally. Afterwards, they are illuminated through analogies; in the aspirations there are eight, and the text is clear and readily understood.
