下明六通，「知他心智」是他心通，「及諸通」者，所謂身通、天眼、天耳，「知本際」者是宿命通。下「聲聞智及緣覺智」是漏盡通。上來出生小乘善法。問曰：此明菩薩慈實能生實行，今云何說生二乘善？菩薩亦修二乘善故，菩薩佛智生大乘善。

Below, it clarifies the six superknowledges: 'knowledge of others' minds' is the superknowledge of others' minds; 'and all superknowledges' refers to the bodily superknowledge, the divine eye, and the divine ear; 'knowledge of the original limit' is the superknowledge of past lives. Below, 'śrāvaka knowledge and pratyekabuddha knowledge' is the superknowledge of the exhaustion of outflows. The above generates the wholesome dharmas of the Hīnayāna. Question: This explains that the bodhisattva's loving-kindness is real and can generate real practice; why now does it say that it generates the wholesome [dharmas] of the two vehicles? [Answer:] Because the bodhisattva also cultivates the wholesome [dharmas] of the two vehicles; the bodhisattva's buddha-wisdom generates the wholesome [dharmas] of the Mahāyāna.
