上來廣明菩薩慈實，自下廣明佛慈是實。有十六句，一一句中先就慈行開出餘義，次以彼義即於慈心，後以慈心即於如來，文顯可知。

The above extensively clarified that the bodhisattva's loving-kindness is real; from here downward extensively clarifies that the Buddha's loving-kindness is real. There are sixteen sentences, in each one of which it first unfolds other meanings based on the practice of loving-kindness, next identifies those meanings with the mind of loving-kindness, and finally identifies the mind of loving-kindness with the Tathāgata; the text is clear and readily understood.
