第三明其麁獷實語於化有宜，如來宣說。先辯語相，「麁獷」同前，「真實」翻虛、「時」翻非時、「法」翻非法、「能為利益」翻上不益，「不悅」同前聞者不愛，次明宣說，「何以」下釋。

Third, he clarifies that harsh and true speech that is suitable for transformation is proclaimed by the Tathāgata. He first explains the characteristics of the speech: "harsh" is the same as before; "true" reverses "false"; "timely" reverses "untimely"; "lawful" reverses "unlawful"; "able to bring benefit" reverses the "unbeneficial" above; "displeasing" is the same as the former "not loved by those who hear it". Next, he clarifies that it is proclaimed; the explanation begins below with "Why?".
