下明觀苦，文別有四：一觀苦相、第二會通、三觀苦實、四「一切聲聞辟支佛」下重復會通。

Below, the contemplation of suffering is explained, with four distinct parts in the text: first, contemplating the marks of suffering; second, synthesizing and harmonizing; third, contemplating the reality of suffering; fourth, from "all śrāvakas and pratyekabuddhas" onward, synthesizing and harmonizing once again.
