貪生喻中，句別有四：一生相現前喻、二「主人見」下審生名字喻、三「主人問」下審生功能喻、四「主人聞」下貪樂受生喻。

In the parable of craving birth, there are four distinct clauses: first, the parable of the characteristic of birth manifesting before [him]; second, from "The master saw" downward, the parable of inquiring into the name of birth; third, from "The master asked" downward, the parable of inquiring into the function of birth; fourth, from "The master heard" downward, the parable of craving and taking joy in receiving birth.
