前明戒中，初先法說，「以修慧故戒牢不動」，次喻，後合，「爾時」下結，「是名」已下結異世間。

In the preceding clarification of precepts, first comes the doctrinal explanation: "Because of cultivating wisdom, the precepts are firm and unshakeable"; next is the simile; afterwards is the application; from "At that time" downward is the conclusion; and from "This is called" downward is the conclusion on the difference from the world.
