次觀內外，「內外如是」舉後類前，三義同一故曰如是。「唯有」已下解釋如來、法、僧佛性不在三空，於中先舉，「何以」下釋，「是故」下結，「是名內外」總以結之。

Next is contemplating the internal and external. 'Internal and external are like this' adduces what follows by analogy with what precedes; because the three meanings are identical, it says 'like this'. From 'Only there is' below explains that the Tathāgata, Dharma, Saṅgha, and buddha-nature are not present in the three emptinesses; therein it first adduces them, from 'Why' below explains, from 'Therefore' below concludes, and 'This is called internal and external' summarizes and concludes it.
