Regarding the "Chapter on the King of Virtues": according to the actual dharma, it should be called the Chapter on the Ten Merits, but here the chapter title is taken from the person who inquires. A person is perfected through virtues; "virtues" refers to the two kinds of adornment: merit and wisdom. "Illuminating Everywhere with Light" is the adornment of wisdom; inner wisdom being perfected and complete, with light pervading the dharmadhātu, is called illuminating everywhere with light. "Noble King of Virtues" is the adornment of merit; because his merit is extraordinary, he is therefore named the Noble King of Virtues. Only one endowed with these virtues is competent to consult and inquire; therefore, the chapter is titled following him as the "Chapter on the King of Virtues Who Illuminates Everywhere with Light."
