6.65

二約大乘、小乘辯四，依如《地經》，了知一乘名法無礙，知三乘別名義無礙。今此經中知三乘別名法無礙，了知一乘名義無礙，有斯左右。「於一法中作種種名，說不可盡」名辭無礙。依前名義種種異說多劫不盡，稱人心欲，名樂說無礙。

Second, distinguishing the four according to Mahāyāna and Hīnayāna: according to the Daśabhūmika Sūtra, fully knowing the One Vehicle is called unobstructed knowledge of dharmas, and knowing the differences of the three vehicles is called unobstructed knowledge of meaning. Now in this sūtra, knowing the differences of the three vehicles is called unobstructed knowledge of dharmas, and fully knowing the One Vehicle is called unobstructed knowledge of meaning; there is this alternate perspective. "Formulating various names within a single dharma, explaining without end" is called unobstructed knowledge of phrasing. Relying on the preceding names and meanings to expound variously for many kalpas without end, according with people's desires, is called unobstructed knowledge of delightful discourse.
