From "Kāśyapa addressed the Buddha" downward, questions and answers clarify this again. Kāśyapa first raises an objection: "If one does not grasp, then one does not know dharmas," using non-grasping to object to and dismantle having knowledge. "If one knows dharmas, then one is grasping," using having knowledge to object to and dismantle non-grasping. "If one knows without grasping, then there is nothing known," reiterating both to cross-examine: although it is said there is knowledge, because of non-grasping, there is still nothing known. "Why does the Tathāgata say knowing without grasping?" concludes by negating the statement above.
