自下迦葉顯己問意，於中先明如來宣說無得之益，令多眾生斷有相心，「以是事」下明己問意。
From here on, Kāśyapa reveals the intention of his question. Therein, he first clarifies the benefit of the Tathāgata expounding non-attainment, causing many sentient beings to sever the mind that possesses marks; from "Because of this matter" onward, he clarifies the intention of his own question.
