Below, the Buddha first commands them to listen and consents to speak, and later analyzes and explains, in a text with two parts: first, directly explaining the previous verse to show that the Buddha has attainment; second, from "the Tathāgata universally for all sentient beings" onward, in terms of the Buddha transforming others, it clarifies that others have attainment. In the former part, there are eight turns; now we will first distinguish their similarities and differences with the above ten dharmas of non-attainment, and then explain the text. Regarding similarities and differences: of these eight turns, five are identical to the above. In the first turn, nirvāṇa and prajñā are identical to the second, wisdom, and the third, nirvāṇa, among the previous ten. In the third turn, permanence, bliss, self, and purity are identical to the seventh above. In the sixth turn, ultimate emptiness samādhi is identical to the sixth above. The seventh, the one vehicle, is identical to the fourth above; the eighth, the vaipulya, is identical to the fifth above; the rest are all different. Why are they different? The Dharma-gates are immeasurable; taking up any of them is permissible.
