下對前治中法空之觀，明諸法中對治離過。前中文有四句兩對，初依前治中不見我相、不見我所斷除見惑，先喻後合，「如屋」喻也，「見眾生」等合以顯法。二依前治中不見我相、不見我所斷除愛慧，於中初明菩薩不貪，「一切凡」下舉凡顯聖，「凡見眾生故起煩惱」明凡異聖，「菩薩念慧於生不貪」辯聖異凡。此前一對。

downward, in contrast to the contemplation of the emptiness of dharmas in the previous antidote, clarifies the antidote that departs from faults with respect to all dharmas. In the first part, the text has four clauses in two pairs. First, relying on not seeing the marks of a self and not seeing what belongs to a self in the previous antidote, it severs afflictions of view—first the simile, then the application: "like a house" is the simile; "seeing sentient beings" and so forth is the application to reveal the dharma. Second, relying on not seeing the marks of a self and not seeing what belongs to a self in the previous antidote, it severs the wisdom of craving. In this, it first clarifies that the bodhisattva is not greedy; from "all ordinary persons" downward, it adduces the ordinary to reveal the noble: "ordinary persons, because they see sentient beings, therefore give rise to afflictions" clarifies how the ordinary differs from the noble; "the bodhisattva, with mindfulness and wisdom, is not greedy toward sentient beings" explains how the noble differs from the ordinary. This is the first pair.
