上來生厭，下次不受，於中初法，三中就始是故且言「生欲不受」，次立五喻，下合可知。

The preceding section concerned giving rise to revulsion; next is not receiving. Therein, first is the literal exposition: taking the beginning among the three, it therefore simply says 'giving rise to desire and not receiving'; next, five analogies are established; below, the application can be understood.
