寂靜樂中，先列其名，此猶是前寂滅樂也。息苦名寂，「涅槃性寂」彰彼寂樂是涅槃樂，「何以」下釋，「以大寂」下將義顯體，成涅槃大。

In the bliss of quiescence, it first lists its name; this is still the previous bliss of cessation. Calming suffering is called quiescence; "the nature of nirvāṇa is quiescent" reveals that this quiescent bliss is the bliss of nirvāṇa; from "why" downward explains it; from "by great quiescence" downward uses the meaning to reveal the substance, establishing the greatness of nirvāṇa.
