8.125

就初段中，先答前四問明所證法，師子吼言菩薩具幾見不了。下答後四問明能證法，佛性是其所證之法，諸佛菩薩證性之行，為他施習為能證法，此二須記。

Within the first section, he first answers the first four questions, clarifying the dharma that is realized: Siṃhanāda asked with how many [dharmas] a bodhisattva is endowed such that he does not see clearly. Below, he answers the latter four questions, clarifying the dharma that is capable of realizing: the buddha-nature is the dharma that is realized; the practice of the buddhas and bodhisattvas in realizing the nature, applying and cultivating it for others, is the dharma that is capable of realizing. These two must be borne in mind.
