喻中，「貧人家有寶藏」喻前性體常、樂、我、淨，「是人」已下喻上眾生不能見等。「有善知識而語」已下，喻佛性實非無常、苦等，寄得顯之。於中先喻諸佛菩薩開化令得而語化始，「即以方便」令見化終，「以得見」下喻諸眾生同化得見。

In the simile, "in a poor person's house there is a treasure trove" illustrates that the essence of the nature is permanence, bliss, self, and purity. From "this person..." onward illustrates that sentient beings above cannot see it, and so forth. From "there is a good spiritual friend who speaks..." onward illustrates that the buddha-nature is truly not impermanence, suffering, and so forth, revealing this through the attainment. Therein, it first illustrates that all buddhas and bodhisattvas instruct and transform them to cause them to attain it, speaking of the beginning of transformation; "thereupon through expedient means" causes them to see it, which is the end of transformation; from "having attained sight" onward illustrates that all sentient beings, having been similarly transformed, attain sight of it.
