上來廣釋前四門竟，下釋第五非因果性。「以是義故十二因緣不出」等者，以前因緣中道之理，體是常、樂、我、淨義故，常住不動、不出、不滅，乃至非果。

The broad explanation of the preceding four gates has finished above; below, the fifth, the neither-cause-nor-effect nature, is explained. "For this reason, the twelve links of dependent origination do not arise," and so forth: because the aforementioned principle of the middle way of dependent origination is in substance the meaning of permanence, bliss, self, and purity, it is permanently abiding and unmoving, neither arising nor ceasing, and so on up to not being an effect.
