上來第一廣明向前理、行二門為種子義，「非因果故常恒無變」是第二段，明其常、樂、我、淨之義，文但辯常，餘略不論。就前五中，「非因非果不隨緣變」正是常義，故偏牒之，就明常矣。

The first [part] above broadly clarified the meaning of the aforementioned two gates of principle and practice serving as seeds; "Because it is neither cause nor effect, it is permanent, eternal, and without change" is the second section, which clarifies its meaning of permanence, bliss, self, and purity; the text only distinguishes permanence, leaving the rest aside. Among the preceding five, "neither cause nor effect and not changing along with conditions" is precisely the meaning of permanence; hence it specifically takes it up to clarify permanence.
