第九句中，先以有性難破須修，「非不因」下以其須修難破有性。

In the ninth clause, he first uses having a nature to interrogate and refute the need for cultivation; from "It is not that without a cause..." onward, he uses the need for cultivation to interrogate and refute having a nature.
