8.29

下廣釋之。信中，初問，次解，後結。辯中有三：一對境辯信、二「若沙門」下嘆以顯勝、三「雖有」下明信離相。初中先辯，後總結之。

Below, it explains them extensively. Within faith, first is a question, next an explanation, and finally a conclusion. Within the differentiation there are three: first, differentiating faith in contrast to objects; second, the section from "if a śramaṇa" downward praises it to reveal its supremacy; third, the section from "although there is" downward clarifies that faith is free from marks. In the first part, it first differentiates and then concludes generally.
