第二段中，「路值一人多齎寶」等，喻逢如來。「便前問」等，喻問所求。「其人若」下，喻佛為說，先明所求有實不虛，後彰往者有苦不謬。

In the second section, "Encountering on the road a person carrying many treasures" and so forth illustrates meeting the Tathāgata. "Then stepping forward and asking" and so forth illustrates asking about what is sought. From "If that person" downward illustrates the Buddha explaining for them: first clarifying that what is sought is real and not false, and next revealing that those who go will face suffering without error.
