第二以心顯法之中，先舉八喻，「如鹽性醎」喻修空想，「心醎異物」喻能空法，餘亦如是。下合可知。

In the second, revealing dharmas through the mind, it first adduces eight analogies: "just as the nature of salt is salty" is an analogy for cultivating the perception of emptiness; "the mind makes other things salty" is an analogy for being able to empty dharmas; the rest are likewise. The correspondence below can be understood.
