Second, based on the simile of semen and blood forming the body, it clarifies that from the unwholesome and wholesome five aggregates one obtains the fruitional five aggregates. In this, first is the dharma, next the simile, and afterward the application. In the dharma, "Therefore I say that from the afflictive and wholesome five aggregates one obtains bodhi": because from the two kinds of five aggregates—wholesome and unwholesome—one obtains the buddha fruit, the Buddha says that from the afflictive and wholesome five aggregates one obtains bodhi. In the simile, the initial statement "just as the body of sentient beings" illustrates the fruit of bodhi. "All comes from semen and blood" illustrates that from afflictions and the wholesome five aggregates one obtains the fruit. The application in the text can be understood. The above is the first part, elucidating the meaning of the aforementioned three periods of time and non-three-periods of time.
