下約辨性。「十住少見，名隨他意」，先辨、後釋。「說一切生皆有佛性不斷不滅終得菩提，名隨自意。說一切生皆有佛性，惱覆不見，彼此同知，名隨自他」。

Below, the nature is distinguished with reference [to them]: "The ten abodes seeing it partially is called conforming to others' intention"—this is first distinguished and afterwards explained. "Saying that all living beings possess the buddha-nature, which is neither cut off nor destroyed, and will ultimately attain bodhi, is called conforming to one's own intention. Saying that all living beings possess the buddha-nature, but covered by affliction they do not see it, which is known mutually by both, is called conforming to both oneself and others."
