自下第四雙結前二。「若言業定則不得有修梵行」等，結非前邪。「則不得有修行解脫」，違道過也。「非我弟子是魔眷屬」，違師過也。「若言諸業定不定」下，結前正義，先明順道。「真我弟子」明其順師。從初至此問答難通，合為第一汎明諸業體性不定有可轉義。

From here, the fourth [section] concludes both of the preceding two. 'If one says that karma is determinate, then one cannot have the practice of the pure life (brahmacarya)...' and so forth concludes by refuting the former heterodoxy. 'Then one cannot have the practice of liberation' is the fault of going against the Path. 'They are not my disciples; they are the retinue of Māra' is the fault of going against the Teacher. From 'if one says that karmas are determinate and indeterminate' onward, it concludes the former correct meaning, first clarifying accord with the Path. 'They are truly my disciples' clarifies accord with the Teacher. From the beginning up to this point, questions and answers have resolved the difficulties, combining to form the first part: generally clarifying that the essential nature of karmas is indeterminate and has the possibility of being transformed.
