15.13

三知滅煩惱是名中智，知滅煩惱不可稱計、滅亦如是不可稱計是名上智。凡夫六道亦得有滅，差已還生。二乘之滅，灰斷不起。菩薩自滅，復令他滅。諸佛之滅，滅一切滅，即是法界。

Third: knowing the cessation of afflictions is called intermediate wisdom; knowing that the cessation of afflictions cannot be measured or counted, and that cessation is likewise beyond reckoning, is called superior wisdom. Ordinary beings of the six destinies also manage to have cessation, but having ceased, it arises again. Cessation of the two vehicles reduces to ashes and cuts off, not arising again. Bodhisattvas extinguish it themselves and further cause others to extinguish it. Cessation of all Buddhas extinguishes all cessations, which is itself the dharmadhātu.
