15.6

「善男子菩薩」下，第二明愛過患，又二：先標列九章門、後一一廣釋。釋中自為九章，一一章中仍當分合譬，前一為二乘作譬，後八為凡夫作譬。初文者，二乘未斷習，如還財未盡。下八為凡夫，尋文可見。

From 'Good son, the bodhisattva' onward is the second, clarifying the faults and perils of craving, which also has two parts: first, setting forth the nine headings; afterwards, explaining each extensively. The explanation itself forms nine sections, and within each section one should still distinguish between setting up and applying the analogies: the first one provides an analogy for the two vehicles, and the latter eight provide analogies for ordinary people. As for the first text, the two vehicles have not yet severed the residue of habitual tendencies, like not yet finishing the repayment of wealth. The eight below are for ordinary people, as can be seen by consulting the text.
