From "At that time the Buddha addressed" onwards is the third part: the Tathāgata's praise and commendation, which also has four parts: first, the king expresses his doubt; second, the Buddha resolves it definitively; third, bringing forward all things to question; fourth, the Buddha answers. First, speaking of doubt means doubting whether the Buddha's wisdom can eliminate it or cannot eliminate it, and doubting whether his own crime can be eliminated or cannot be eliminated. Next, from "I now" onwards, the Buddha makes a definitive resolution, using the wisdom that can eliminate it to eliminate the crime that can be eliminated. Third, from "At that time" onwards, he brings forward all things to question: The Buddha stated that all things are indeterminate; why then did he make a determinate exposition for the king? Fourth, from "The Buddha said" onwards is the answer: Did the king himself think it could be eliminated or could not be eliminated? I eliminated it for him, eliminating his indeterminacy to make it determinate.
