28.18

「我經中說」下，第八爭論五欲障道不障道。薩婆多云障道，僧祇云不障，《成論》有障不障皆有其義。

From "In my sūtras I say" below, this is the eighth debate, on whether the five desires obstruct the path or do not obstruct the path. The Sarvāstivādins say they obstruct the path; the Mahāsāṃghikas say they do not obstruct it; the *Tattvasiddhi-śāstra* holds that both "obstructing" and "not obstructing" have their valid sense.
