第一、道生法師翻為滅，其義訓乃自多方，正名為滅，經論皆爾也。

First, Dharma Master Daosheng translated it as “cessation” (mie). Its semantic glosses are indeed diverse, but its proper name is cessation; sūtras and treatises are all like this.
