莊嚴云：涅槃出二諦外。明惑因所感果是浮虛之故，是世諦；假體則空故，是真諦。今佛果非惑因所感故，非世諦；非世諦故不可則空，故非真諦。所以《仁王經》云：「薩雲若覺，超度世諦第一義也。」

[Master] Zhuangyan states: Nirvāṇa is outside the two truths. He explains that the fruit brought about by the causes of delusion is floating and empty, and is therefore conventional truth; the provisional essence is empty, and is therefore ultimate truth. Now, the Buddha-fruit is not brought about by the causes of delusion, and is therefore not conventional truth; because it is not conventional truth, it cannot be identical to emptiness, and is therefore not ultimate truth. Hence the Benevolent Kings Sūtra states: "Sarvajña-awakening transcends both the conventional truth and the ultimate truth."
