故經云：「顯發如來方便密教故，昔隱不說為密也，今日顯說為開密也。」
Therefore the sūtra says: "Because of manifesting the Tathāgata's esoteric teaching of skillful means, formerly hiding and not speaking was esoteric; today manifestly speaking is revealing the esoteric."
