贊曰：第三、化佛說言也。有四：一化佛、二皆唱、三顯因、四明果。此初二也。化佛者，喻彌勒上生跡非真故、諸佛神變難思議故。皆唱言者，喻百億釋迦同與彌勒等授記故。

The commentary says: Third, the words spoken by the transformed Buddhas. There are four points: first, the transformed Buddhas; second, all proclaiming; third, revealing the cause; fourth, explaining the fruit. These are the first two. The transformed Buddhas symbolize that Maitreya's ascent to birth is an expedient trace, not the real; and that the spiritual transformations of all Buddhas are difficult to fathom. That they all proclaimed words symbolizes that the hundred billion Śākyamunis jointly bestow prophecy on Maitreya and the others.
