贊曰：第五、彌勒領悟也。於中有二：一明領悟、二明請記。此初也。因行久圓果今示證，微假資習多有所成。釋迦一音纔宣，百億彌勒領悟萬倍。解生由此，應時即得百萬億也。

The Commentary says: Fifth, Maitreya's comprehension. Within this there are two: first, explaining comprehension; second, explaining requesting the prediction. This is the first. His causal practices having long been perfected, he now displays realization of the fruit; slightly relying on prior habituation, he achieves much. As soon as Śākya proclaimed with a single sound, Maitreya comprehended ten billion [doors] ten-thousand-fold. Understanding arose from this, and immediately he attained hundred-myriads of billions.
