佛告優波離：却後十二年二月十五日，於波羅奈國劫波利村波婆利大婆羅門家本所生處，結加趺坐如入滅定。

The Buddha told Upāli: "Twelve years from now, on the fifteenth day of the second month, in the country of Vārāṇasī, in the village of Kāpali, in the home of the great brāhmaṇa Bāvari where he was originally born, he will sit cross-legged as if entering the concentration of cessation."
