贊曰：後明迴願。如上所說行六事輩，極少但能於一念頃至心不犯，持八戒齋隨修淨業，發願資助迴向定生。言一念者，非餘時犯，唯一念持戒，初唯發願一念持故，何況多時。

The commentary says: Finally, explaining dedicating vows. As for those who practice the six deeds described above, if at the very least they are able, for even the duration of a single thought-moment, with a sincere mind not to violate them, uphold the eight precepts and fast, cultivate pure karma accordingly, and make vows to aid and dedicate [their merits], they will definitely be born [there]. When it says 'a single thought-moment', it does not mean that they violate them at other times and only uphold the precepts for a single thought-moment; it is because at the beginning they only make a vow to uphold them for a single thought-moment, how much more so if it is for a long time.
